REQUEST FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES WARSAW MUNICIPAL AIRPORT - WARSAW, INDIANA The Warsaw Board of Aviation Commissioners will receive "Statements of Qualifications" from firms who are interested in providing professional services for the planning, design, construction document preparation, and construction observation in connection with: The Warsaw Municipal Airport Five Year Capital Development Plan Only firms with airport planning and design experience need apply. The general scope of services includes: 1. Grant Administration 2. Environmental Assessments 3. Wetland Mitigation Permitting 4. Land Acquisition 5. County Road Relocation and/or Closure 6. Apron Expansion 7. Hangar Development 8. Perimeter Fencing 9. Obstruction Marking and Removal 10. Runway Extension 11. Parallel Taxiways 12. Airport Planning 13. New Terminal Development Evaluation of the Statements of Qualifications will be based on the criteria following: 1. Capability to perform all or most aspects of the project. 2. Familiarity with existing airport facilities. 3. Comparable work experience with references. 4. Reputation for personal and professional integrity and competence. 5. Evidence that the firm has established an Affirmative Action Plan. 6. Resumes of key personnel and availability for the work. 7. Current workload. 8. Recent experience in special areas associated with the proposed projects. 9. Capability to conduct value engineering studies. 10. Demonstrated ability to meet schedules and budgets. 11. Capability to complete projects without major cost overruns. 12. Qualifications and experience of anticipated outside consultants. 13. Quality of previous projects. 14. Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration and State Aeronautics Section regulations. 15. Knowledge of Kosciusko County and City of Warsaw Regulations and Planning Ordinances. 16. Location where most work will be performed. 17. Demonstrated understanding of special concerns. 18. Degree of interest in project. 19. Capability to incorporate aesthetics into design while accomplishing basic functional requirements. 20. Capability to furnish qualified inspectors. Each firm's Statements of Qualifications is to be limited to 30 pages and will be ranked using the criteria stated above. The highest ranking firm will then be invited to prepare a detailed scope of services and cost proposal for consideration. Additional information may be requested from David A.
