Warsaw Moose Supports Kids Through Steve Bradford Memorial FundThe Warsaw branch of Loyal Order of Moose donated $600 to the Steve Bradford Memorial Fund, a component fund of Kosciusko County Community Foundation.

Moose Lodge executive members Dan Cooper, Paula Shalley and Dan McClone presented Community Foundation CEO Stephanie Overbey with the gift on Tuesday, according to a news release from the Foundation.

The Steve Bradford Memorial Fund assists children of Kosciusko County in need, most commonly upon referral from local schools.

Dan Cooper, who is a brother-in-law of the late Steve Bradford, says that the fund’s goals mirror those of the Moose Lodge. “As Moose, we have a civic responsibility to support local children and families,” he said.

Since it was established in 2007, The Steve Bradford Memorial Fund has awarded over $4,000 in grants benefiting Kosciusko County children in need.

Since 1968, Kosciusko County Community Foundation Inc. has helped donors achieve their charitable dreams.

The Community Foundation is a public charity that grants over $3 million annually in the areas of education, health, arts and culture, recreation, civic projects, environment and human services. Gifts made to the Community Foundation are tax-deductible.
