The Warsaw Middle Schools Summer Band Program will present a summer concert Thursday at Lakeview Middle School in the auditorium. The Beginning Band will perform at 10 a.m. They will perform selections from their band book along with sharing musical concepts taught throughout the summer band program. The eighth-grade band will play a wide variety of musical selections, including “Early American Portrait,” “This is My Country,” “Theme from Jurassic Park” and “Eye of the Tiger.” The concert will begin at 11:30 a.m. Both concerts are free of charge. “I am always so excited to be able to witness the progress the students achieve in such a short period of time. It’s very rewarding to work with Warsaw’s talented young musicians,” stated Joseph Peloza, middle school band director. “Please join us for a musical morning as we celebrate the efforts and accomplishments of our students.”
