Four people were arrested Monday afternoon after a meth lab was discovered by a deputy serving eviction papers.
Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department Lt. Chris McKeand was serving court-ordered eviction papers at 1101 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, Monday when he uncovered an apparent methamphetamine lab in the apartment building, according to a press release from the KCSD.The following suspects were preliminary arrested on the following charges:
Kyle Dean Miller, 48, of 1101 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, charged with possession of methamphetamine with bond set at $2,000; Maryellen M. Stephens-Grosch, 27, Claypool, on possession of methamphetamine with bond set at $2,000; Cynthia Marie Funderburk, 46, Warsaw, charged with a warrant for restricted sales of ephedrine with bond set at $1,000; and Jordan Matthew Miller, 27, Rochester, on a warrant for failure to appear misdemeanor with bond set at $500.
Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers and the Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team were sent to the location to dismantle the active methamphetamine lab. One large and two small bags of methamphetamine were located at the scene as well as methamphetamine in production. Warsaw City Police and K-9 units assisted KCSD in the arrest.
