On Tuesday at approximately 10:50 p.m., Norfolk Southern Railroad contacted Kosciusko County Central Dispatch advising a train hit a pedestrian somewhere along Ranch Road.
Shortly thereafter, Warsaw Police Department officers responded to the area and located 25-year-old Adam T. Driscoll, Warsaw, near the tracks.
He was disoriented and bleeding from the head.
Driscoll was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital and later airlifted to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne due to his injuries.
He was listed in stable condition as of press time.
Alcohol may have been a factor in this incident, according to a press release.
The investigation continues with Norfolk Southern.
