Warsaw Man Hurt In Morning Crash

Posted
aThe condition of a Warsaw man, involved in an early morning one-vehicle accident west of Silver Lake this morning, was unknown at press time.

According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Ryan J. Sparks, 22, Warsaw, was headed eastbound on Ind. 14 near the intersection of CR 500W around 7:47 a.m. today when he left the roadway and struck a tree and a REMC utility pole.

Sparks was apparently conscious at the scene but was airlifted by Lutheran Air Ambulance. Sparks was not listed in Lutheran Hospital's patient directory.

Due to computer problems, as of this morning, Parkview Hospital officials couldn't confirm whether Sparks was in their hospital.

Police are still trying to determine why Sparks left the roadway.

Sparks, who works in Rochester, was on his way home when he left the roadway for an unknown reason.
