Warsaw Man Held In Rape

A Warsaw man was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl.

Allen Lee Davis, 36, of 2654 U.S. 30E, is being held in Kosciusko County Jail without bond.

According to police, the victim told the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department that Davis, her mother's boyfriend, raped her over the weekend while her mother was gone. The victim reportedly said she did not want to have sex with Davis.

Davis allegedly told police he did have sex with the girl but he said it was consentual.

The case is being turned over the Kosciusko County prosecutor's office for further investigation.
