Warsaw Man Faces Arson

Posted

A Warsaw man was arrested for arson in the Sept. 24 burning of his home.

Roger Lee Hale, 25, of 1497 N. CR 525W, Warsaw, was charged with arson resulting in injury or death and is being held on $5,000 bond. The charge is a Class A felony.

Investigation revealed that an accelerant was poured on the floor of his home and the fire was intentionally set, according to court documents.

The arson charge was upgraded from a Class B to a Class A felony because a fireman was injured fighting the blaze.

Hale's brother, David Hale, was arrested last week in connection with the same case.
