Warsaw Man Charged With Battery, Strangulation, Criminal MischiefA Warsaw man was arrested for allegedly strangling a woman and breaking a glass door.

Aaron Gustin Fuller, 30, of 418 W. River Chase Drive, Warsaw, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 10:18 a.m. Wednesday and is charged with domestic battery with a child under 16 present, a Level 6 felony; strangulation, a Level 6 felony; domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor; and criminal mischief, a Class B misdemeanor.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed Dec. 29, on Nov. 26 Warsaw police responded to a domestic incident and spoke with a woman who said Fuller became angry and slapped her across the face, causing her glasses to fall off. The woman further told police that after that happened, Fuller used his arm to apply pressure to her neck, making it difficult for her to breathe.

According to court papers, three children were in the home at the time of the incident and one of the children tried to get Fuller to stop hurting the woman.

Fuller also is accused of throwing an object at the front door, breaking the glass and causing a scratch on the nose of one of the children.

Police reported observing injuries to both the woman and the child.

Fuller’s bond was set at $10,500.
