Posted
A Warsaw man was arrested Friday on meth-related charges.
According to a Warsaw Police Department release, police culminated several months of investigation Friday at approximately 5:30 p.m. on a Warsaw man for dealing in methamphetamine, after receiving numerous complaints and tips of heavy drug traffic.
Narcotics officers went to 1117 W. Winona Ave. in Warsaw and found William Marsillett, 54, and several others at the residence. Marsillett had meth on him, according to the release, and he was taken into custody.
A search warrant was executed and officers located finished meth product, prescription medications not prescribed to anyone living at the residence, and synthetic drugs.
Marsillett was transported to the Kosciusko County Jail and initially booked for possession of meth. He was then formally charged over the weekend with dealing meth, a class B felony. He is being held on $200,000 bond.
Several others were arrested and charged with various drug-related offenses, or had warrants for their arrest. Additional charges and more arrests are likely, police say.
Warsaw police were assisted in their investigation by Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
