Warsaw Man Arrested for Meth

Posted
A Warsaw man faces a meth charge after police found two active labs cooking in his RV on the south side of Warsaw early Tuesday.

Acting on an anonymous tip, officers with the Warsaw Police Department and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department went around 3:30 a.m. to a parked RV near Smith Street. Inside, officers with the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force found two one-pot methamphetamine labs brewing, according to sheriff’s department spokesman Sgt. Chad Hill.

Police arrested the RV’s occupant – Al Walter Paul McDonald, 45, of 602 S. McClellan St., Warsaw - on a single preliminary charge of manufacturing methamphetamine. He is being held in Kosciusko County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

Hill said the Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab team was called to process the scene “due to the volatility” of the two labs. The Warsaw Fire Department also was on scene in a stand-by capacity, Hill said.

Hill said DTF officers have not closed the book on the investigation.
