Warsaw Man Admits to Molesting Young Girl

A Warsaw man has admitted to molesting a young girl under the age of 14 at his home in Warsaw last year.
Steven Wayne Lawrence, 41, told police that while his wife was in jail, he sexually molested a young girl at their home in Warsaw.
At 9:55 a.m. Friday, Lawrence was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on preliminary charges of child molesting.
Lawrence is facing up to 58 years in prison on the two counts of child molesting, one a Class A felony and the other a Class C felony.
The young girl stated that in August last year she was molested by Lawrence.
As of press time today, Lawrence was still in jail on $20,000 bond.
