Warsaw Library Board Hears Updates On Community Involvement

Posted

Warsaw Community Public Library Board of Trustees discussed the library’s community involvement during a board meeting Monday.
WCPL Director Heather Barron said the library has continued its health-related partnerships with local organizations. Francine’s Friends Mobile Mammography was at WCPL on Sept. 3, and was fully booked for appointments. Live Well Kosciusko also had the Northern Indiana MCH Network present for additional health testing during that time.
“We’re excited to continue down that road,” said Barron.
Barron also told the board she joined the Warsaw Public Arts Commission, which may get involved in the library’s 2026 Holocaust exhibit.
In a brief Friends of the Library update, WCPL Marketing Administrator Robin Fosnaugh said the children’s and young adult section of the Story Emporium bookstore has been moved to a former storage closet within the store. The store is open from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturdays.
The board’s next meeting is at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20.
