During the weeks of Oct. 17 and 24 only, there will be one leaf crew on the north side and one crew on the south side.
Leaves raked to the street will be picked up on regular trash day. Residents are advised not to rake leaves into the street. As a reminder, yard waste, trash and the leaf piles will need to be out by 7 a.m.
Beginning Oct. 31, the leaf trucks will then split into their designated areas, and run their routes as normal.
As the routes get heavier, more trucks will be added. Once the leaf season is in full swing, it can take up to two weeks for the trucks to finish their route one time.
The city will be picking up street side first. Alley pick up will be at the end of the season.
Residents may continue to bag or box leaves to have them picked up on regular trash day.
