Members of Warsaw Fire Department responded to a house fire on Woodland Drive early this morning. Fire crews received the call at 4:59 a.m. today. One person was in the residence at the time of the fire but got out before fire crews arrived. When firefighters arrived, they helped get several family pets out of the home. No one was injured in the blaze. Crews from Warsaw Fire Department and Winona Lake Fire Department responded to the call. Damage from the fire, which is believed to have started from a clothes dryer, is estimated at $60,000. The fire remains under investigation.
