The Warsaw gymnastics team defeated Northrop 98.05-87.3 on Monday to stay unbeaten this year.
Jillian Letch swept the competition for the Tigers by winning all four events and the all-around. She set a school record on the floor with a score of 9.05 and she also set a school record in the all-around with a score of 34.75.
In junior varsity action, Warsaw defeated Northrop 66.4-18.8. Heather Hyde placed first in the beam and the floor and won the all-around. Bethany Young placed first in the vault and the bars and was second in the all-around. The junior varsity team is now 2-0.
Warsaw (2-0) will compete on Jan. 13 at Elkhart Memorial at 6:30 p.m.

Girls Basketball
LCA 0-2 On Weekend
The LCA girls basketball team lost two games by four points each over the weekend.
The Cougars lost to Trinity at South Bend 51-47 on Friday and then to Brethren Christian 53-49 on Saturday.
Against Trinity, Joy Houghton scored 17 points and added 11 rebounds. Janina Harman added 11 points, 20 rebounds and 11 steals for her second triple-double this year. Heather Jones also scored nine points for LCA.
Against Brethren Christian, Harman had 20 points and 20 boards, while Karis Bushen scored seven points. Sarah Haupert added 6 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists.
Lakeland (4-6) will be at Lakewood Park on Saturday.

Manchester Places First At Lewis Cass Invite
At Walton, the Manchester Squires boys swim team placed first among "B" teams at the Lewis Cass Invite on Dec. 27.
Manchester competed against four other schools for the team title. This was Manchester's first win in three attempts at the invitational and won despite battling through sickness by several swimmers.
Rod Smith placed first overall in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:56.45.
Among class "B" teams, the medley relay team took first place overall. Also placing first among class "B" teams were Charlie Summerland in the 200 individual medley and the 100 butterfly, Reed Christiansen in diving, and the 200 free relay team.
Manchester (4-1) will be at Eastern on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
