A Warsaw graduate and her husband are seeking volunteers and donations to produce a film locally.
Warsaw Community High School 1999 graduate Joletta Sells Boghosian, along with her husband, Christopher J. Boghosian, plan to shoot a feature film near Warsaw and invite residents to get involved, according to a provided press release.
The movie will be filmed this summer if enough money is raised, according to Joletta in a telephone interview Monday afternoon. If the money isn’t raised to make the movie this summer, it will be shot next summer, she said, but it will definitely be made.
The Boghosians’ micro-budget, bare-bones production will use local actors, crew and locations in Kosciusko and Wabash counties. Fully funded through grants and individual donations, this independent style of filmmaking offers non-professional actors and crew personnel an opportunity to be part of a feature film.

Residents can also meet the filmmakers in-person during a fundraiser at Big Apple Bagels (Kmart Plaza) Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
The event is open to the public, however, due to limited space, those interested must RSVP to indianamovie@gmail.com
Attendees will hear a presentation about the project, watch a short film and discover how to support this film as a volunteer, as a patron or by donating non-cash items.
For the past five years, Christopher and Joletta Boghosian have been living and working in Los Angeles, Calif.
Christopher has written and directed more than 12 short films including “Fade to Red,” “First Light” and “Jasmin and Josephine.”
Their film is a portrait of love between a lone farmhand and a devout caregiver, set on an Indiana farm at the end of summer. It is a classic romance stripped of gratuitous drama and conflict, with a focus on the evolving relationship between a man and a woman, according to the press release.
The Boghosians hope this is the first of many films to be produced in communities throughout Indiana.
