Warsaw Golf Drops Tiebreaker, Finishes Second At CMA

Posted
CULVER – For the second time in a week, Warsaw lost a tiebreaker and finished second, this time in the Culver Academies Invitational on Saturday.
The Tigers were tied with the host school in the golf tournament, shortened to nine holes due to the weather and the condition of the course. Team scores were determined in relation to par of the holes played, but not every player completed the same nine holes.
Warsaw and Culver tied at 11-over, and the Eagles won the fifth-man tiebreaker. Wawasee was fifth at 18-over, and Triton lost the fifth-man tiebreaker to the Warriors to finish sixth.
Warsaw will host Wawasee in a Northern Lakes Conference match at Stonehenge Golf Club on Tuesday, and Triton will join the two teams at the Bob Turner Classic on May 23 at Tippecanoe Country Club.
