Warsaw Frosh Improve Record To 4-0 This Year

The Warsaw Tiger freshman boys' basketball team hosted and defeated Whitko 51-32 on Thursday. With the win, the Tigers are now 4-0.

The Tigers outscored Whitko 20-10 in the second quarter to take a 34-19 halftime lead.

Jason Henthorn scored 10 and Wes Wienhorst nine for the Tigers. Ross Kesler was top rebounder with six and top assists man with three. Wienhorst added five rebounds.

"I thought we showed some improvement from the Plymouth game," Warsaw coach Tracy Furnivall said. "Our half-court offense was much better and defensively, we had some good segments."

Warsaw hosts a 6:30 p.m. Monday game with Columbia City.

9th Boys: Triton 34,

Plymouth 26

The Triton Trojan freshman boys' basketball team upped its record to 5-0 with an eight-point win over Plymouth on Thursday.

The Trojans outscored Plymouth 10-0 in the second quarter to take an 18-7 halftime lead.

Branden Clauss scored 15 to lead Triton.

Triton is 2-0 in the Northern State Conference.
