Looking for a special Christmas gift for an educator?
The Warsaw Education Foundation and repeat sponsors American Table and The Boathouse Restaurants are joined this year by Cerulean Restaurant and Courthouse Coffee to offer a special "Honor an Educator" gift package to an educator this holiday season. The packages are available now through Dec. 1.
With a contribution to the Warsaw Education Foundation in honor of any Warsaw Community Schools' educator, the Foundation will send a gift certificate donated by one of these restaurants, an "Honored Educator" pennant or pin for workplace display, and your personal note to the honoree. Educators can include teachers, bus drivers, secretaries, custodians, principals, cooks or volunteers within the Warsaw Community Schools. Gift packages will be delivered to recipients the week before Christmas break.
Donations will be used to help fund the NEW Opportunities Workshop, Warsaw Schools' Chess Tournaments, EdCom Scholarships and the Partners in Education school/business mentoring programs. The Foundation also relies on gifts to help fund the "Red Apple Grant" awards. These are monetary grants presented each year to Warsaw educators for creative and enriching classroom projects.
The Warsaw Education Foundation is a community non-profit organization committed to providing resources for Warsaw teachers and students in pursuit of academic excellence.
