NOTICE OF HEARING ON THE AMENDMENT TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR AND THE EXPANSION OF THE NORTHERN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA OF THE CITY OF WARSAW, INDIANA Notice is hereby given that the City of Warsaw, Indiana, Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission"), will hold a public hearing regarding the consideration of a resolution (the "Resolution") which Resolution (i) declares a certain area within the City of Warsaw, Indiana (the "City") as an economic development area and as an allocation area for purposes of tax increment financing (the "Expansion Area") for purposes of expanding the Northern Economic Development Area (the "Area") and (ii) approves an amendment to the Northern Economic Development Area Plan for the Area (the "Amendment"). The Expansion Area is described as follows: Parcel 1: A tract of land in the Northeast Quarter of Section 36, Township 33 North, Range 5 East, Prairie Township, Kosciusko County, Indiana, described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 36; thence North 1 degrees 39 minutes 10 seconds West along the East line of said Northeast Quarter, 289.21 feet to a Mag nail set in the surface of County Road 200 West and the point of beginning; thence South 88 degrees 19 minutes West, 23.04 feet. to an iron pin on the right-of-way of US Highway Number 30; thence South 43 degrees 49 minutes 6 seconds West along said right-of-way, 99.87 feet to an iron pin; thence South 88 degrees 19 minutes West along said right-of-way, 813.40 feet to an iron pin on the West line of East 55 acres of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 36; thence North 1 degrees 39 minutes 10 seconds West, along the West line of said 55 acre tract, 1119.91 feet to an iron pin; thence North 89 degrees 18 minutes 15 seconds East, 907.84 feet to a railroad spike on the East, line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 36; thence South 1 degrees 39 minutes 10 seconds East along said East line, 1034.26 feet to the Point of Beginning. Notice is further given that the public hearing will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012, at noon (12:00 p.m.) (local time), in the City Council Chambers located in the City Building at 302 East Market Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580, at which time the Commission will hear all persons interested in the proceedings and consider the objections of any person who has filed a written remonstrance to the proposed amendment within the filing period and will consider adoption of the Resolution approving of the Amendment and declaring the Expansion Area as an economic development area and designating the Expansion Area as an allocation area for purposes of tax increment financing. Written remonstrances to the proposed Resolution and Amendment must be filed with the Commission at 302 East Market Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580 by 3:30 p.m. (local time) on Friday, June 29, 2012.
