Warsaw Cruise Group Seeks Members For Western Caribbean Cruise In FebruaryAlaska, Hawaii and the Southern Caribbean are just some of the places members of Warsaw Cruise Group LLC have traveled to.
In February, the group will go on a seven-day Western Caribbean Cruise, departing from Miami from Feb. 5.
The deadline to register for the trip is July 31 and the group is seeking people to join them for the cruise.
There are currently 30 people registered for the trip, and there is room for 60 people, according to Tom Maze, Warsaw Cruise Group LLC vice president of sales.
The cruise will be aboard Norwegian Cruise Line's newest ship, Epic. The cruise will travel to Costa Maya, Mexico; Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras; and Cozumel, Mexico.
The Epic is equipped with 24-hour Internet cafes and a physician and nurse are on board to provide medical care and services at customary charges.
There also is a sports court, fitness center, bowling alley and spa on the ship.
The cost for the trip is $1,260 for a New Wave Balcony stateroom, $1,390 for a New Wave Deluxe Balcony Stateroom and $1,690 for a Spa Deluxe Balcony Stateroom.
The cruise fees cover a stateroom of one's choice, all port charges, all government taxes and fees, pre-paid gratuities, a bottle of wine and plate of fruit and cheese, and a group cocktail party with an open bar and hors d'oeuvres.
In 1995, Warsaw Cruise Group LLC was started by Warsaw Community High School graduates Tom and Sara Maze, Steve and Karen Foster, Charlie and Lynn Wheeler and Chuck and Joyce Wood.
"We wanted a way to bring our graduating classes together," Tom said.
Tom said all eight members have gone on the six cruises since 1995 and will go in February.
The Warsaw couples organized a Southern Caribbean cruise for a group of their high school classmates in 1995. Due to the success of the first trip, requests were made to plan more cruises, Tom said.
In 2000, a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean was enjoyed by a larger group. The four couples decided to continue offering group cruises.
The group's mission is to search for travel opportunities, select interesting travel possibilities, make travel arrangements and provide exceptional value.
Tom said there are people from all around the U.S. who have gone on the cruises with Warsaw Cruise Group who are family members and friends.
Steve said the cruise provides people with an opportunity to experience new things.
He said his favorite cruise was when he and his wife traveled with the group to Hawaii in 2007 and renewed their wedding vows.
Tom said the group has 400 people on its mailing list.
The Mazes said people do not have to be retired to go on the cruises.
They said families and children also are invited.
Warsaw Cruise Group will work with those who want to go on the cruise to organize travel accommodations.
