Kindergarten Countdown is a kindergarten-orientation program to help children prepare for school. Space is limited. The program is reserved for children without pre-kindergarten experience and who are of kindergarten age. They must turn 5 by Aug. 1. Registration is now open for the free 17-day summer camp. Free transportation to and from school (some limitations may apply) and free breakfast and lunch will be provided. The Kindergarten Countdown Camp will be from June 10 to July 1 at Washington STEM Acadey, from 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Registration deadline is May 15.
