WARSAW COMMUNITY SCHOOLS LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT SCHOOL BUS BID The Board of School Trustees of Warsaw Community Schools, Kosciusko County, Indiana, will receive sealed bids until 2:00 p.m. local time in the office of the Superintendent of Schools at the Central Instructional Materials Center, 1 Administration Drive, P.O. Box 288, Warsaw, Indiana 46581-0288, on Friday, May 28, 2010 for four sixty-six passenger size school buses. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately at 2:00 p.m. Bids received after 2:00 p.rn. Friday May 28, 2010 will be returned unopened. Bids will be submitted on State Board of Accounts Form No. 96, all parts of which will be attached and properly completed. Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable bid bond or certified check made payable to the order of said school corporation for an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. The certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages in case of failure of any successful bidder to enter into the contract within the ten (10) days after notification of acceptance of the proposal. Copies of detailed instructions to bidders and specifications may be obtained in the Office of the Director of Transportation, P.O. Box 288, Warsaw, Indiana 46581-0288. The owner also reserves the right to select the best overall bid, and not necessarily the lowest. All bids must be marked "Bids for School Buses" on the outside of the envelope.
