Warsaw Christian Includes Guitar In Music Education

Sixth-graders at Warsaw Christian are pictured with guitars that they use in music class with teacher Marlise Shaffer. Using guitars helps the students put into practice what they have learned in music theory. Playing the guitar teaches intervals and how notes work together, and can be applied to playing other musical instruments as well. The students enjoy the guitar unit, which helps to prepare them for success in future music opportunities such as band, choir and instrumental ensembles.
