The Warsaw/Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce is looking to replace two key people who turned in their resignations last week.
Charlie Sparks, the president of the chamber and of Kosciusko Development Inc., will leave on Aug. 15 to take a position as president of the Kokomo/Howard County Development Corp.
"My decision to accept the opportunity in Kokomo was driven by a desire to locate closer to my son and other family members, and to return to my hometown," said Sparks, a Kokomo native.
He has been at the Warsaw/Kosciusko County Chamber since October 1995.
Besides Sparks, the chamber is losing Mary Kittrell, the executive assistant. Kittrell has been with the chamber for 12 years, and is leaving to take a position elsewhere.
The search for a new chamber president is under way, and a committee has been formed. Kittrell said she will stay on until a new president is hired.
