The temperature kept dropping, but the people kept coming out Friday night for the Twinkle Light Celebration downtown Warsaw and Light Up The Night in Central Park. At the Celebration, the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club had their Santa’s House out, Warsaw Mayor Jeff Grose lighted the Christmas tree on the county courthouse lawn and then he led the Twinkle Light Parade. The River Coffeehouse offered up some hot cocoa, while a few vendors had wares to sell or information to distribute. Down at Central Park, kids could sit on Santa Claus’s lap, Silver Bells the reindeer offered people an opportunity to pet him and all the lights in the park were on for people to wonder about and observe.
