Two requests for a variance from developmental standards will be discussed at tonight's Warsaw Board of Zoning Appeals meeting.
James Bohlin, DDS, is asking for an illuminated 27-square-foot sign, at 1922 Husky Trail, in an R-3 zoned district. The maximum square footage allowable in this zone is a 4-foot by 4-foot unlighted sign, not exceeding 6 feet in height.
Eric Wynn, 516 W. Center St., is asking for an accessory structure 20 feet high. Wynn's property is zoned R-3 and, although extra buildings are allowed, they are not to exceed 18 feet in height.
The board also will review findings of fact regarding a July 28 decision to deny the continued presence of additional freestanding signs on the Kimm's Food Mart property on Detroit Street.
The board meets at 7 p.m. in city hall.
