I visited a big city recently. It had lots of banks on corner lots. It had many churches. Lots of places to shop and eat. Thousands of houses and thousands of jobs. That big city even had a Starbucks.
But unlike all the big cities I have visited, they did not have a downtown homeless shelter.
Happy Thanksgiving to the businesses and citizens of Warsaw, many of whom are but a few paychecks or an economic downturn away from being homeless or businessless themselves.
Remember this: If you are patronizing the 37 businesses that do not want a shelter, they will not want you if you lose your job.
