ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF WARSAW, INDIANA CENTER STREET PUMP STATION CONTRACT 18 Sealed Bids for Center Street Pump Station Contract No. 18 will be received by the Clerk Treasurer at City Hall, 302 East Market Street, until 10:30 am, local time, on November 4, 2011 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. In general, the work consists of converting the City existing wastewater treatment plant into a pump station with a bar screen, grit removal channels, equalization basins and submersible pumps. A Pre-Bid meeting will be held at the old wastewater plant on Center St. on October 27, 2011 at 11:00 am, attendance is not mandatory. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Bid, The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the prevailing wage rates established by the State of Indiana. The successful Contractor will be required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all employees hired after the date of this Contract through the E-Verify program. The Contractor will also be required to sign an affidavit concerning employment of unauthorized aliens. A copy of the affidavit is included in the Bid Documents. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, but no bidder shall withdraw his Bid within 90 day's after the actual opening thereof.
