Warsaw Baseball Team Falls In Middlebury

Posted
MIDDLEBURY — Eleven runs through the first three innings weren’t enough for the Warsaw baseball team to get a Northern Lakes Conference win Friday at Northridge.
The Warsaw Tigers held a 11-5 lead after the third inning, but the hosting Northridge Raiders scored five in the fourth and another two in the bottom of the seventh to get the 12-11 victory.
Joey Hickerson and Aaron Christenberry each hit home runs for the Tigers, with Hickerson also hitting a double. Other Tigers to get two hits in the loss were Brock Anson, Brady Ousley and Kyle Morris.
Warsaw now sits at 8-10 overall and 7-5 in the NLC as the Tigers prepare to take on Carroll in a doubleheader today in Fort Wayne.
