A new telephone exchange has been added in Warsaw to better serve the area, according to Sprint's local telecommunications division.
The exchange of 371 has been added to the Warsaw service area. The 267, 268, 269 and 372 exchanges will continue to serve Warsaw, but all new telephone numbers are being assigned to 371.
The exchange was added to handle the increased need for phone lines in the Warsaw area.
"More and more of our customers need lines for facsimile machines, modems and computer equipment in addition to their traditional residential and business line requirements. Cellular phone numbers also are being added to this area," said Roger Fisher, community development manager for the Warsaw district.
