COLUMBIA CITY – Wawasee scored in all five innings, including nine runs in the final frame, in a 23-4 drubbing at Columbia City Thursday. Ten Warriors had at least one hit, and seven had two or more hits. Rylan Kuhn had a double, three singles a walk, drove in three runs and scored four times. Chase Rookstool had three hits, scored four runs and drove in two. Rieder Hunley was beneficiary of the Warrior offense, getting the win on the mound. He pitched three innings, allowing one run and striking out three. Wawasee will host Norwell this afternoon at Warrior Field.
