Wawasee senior Steven Possell signed a letter of intent this morning to play football at the University of Indianapolis. Possell was a three-year varsity starter for the Warriors, and a team captain last season. He was voted the team’s defensive most valuable player the last two seasons, was All Northern Lakes Conference last season and NLC honorable mention two years ago. Possell is also a four-year wrestling letterwinner, and won a letter in track last spring. “Playing college football has always been a dream of mine,” Possell said. “After speaking with the coaches and multiple visits, I have decided U of Indy is where I want to play. I love their winning mentality; it’s a good fit for me.” In the photo above, Possell, front row center, is flanked by his parents, Melissa and Steve Poissell.
