I see from a picture that appeared in your paper the usual list of suspects at a recent meeting at the country club. According to my understanding, they represent the war party. From what I can understand, they are prepared like the little lemmings to follow Dr. Strangelove over the cliff. I see notices of these little political meetings quite regularly for the party faithful and the deep pockets.
These little meetings appear to be as private as they can be to keep us peasants out. Town meetings by Congressman and Senators appears to be a thing of the past. Maybe it's because they started noticing too many people showing up carrying ropes.
War party, too are the go-along-to-get-along party. They don't even have enough guts to cut off the money for one of the strangest wars I've ever seen. Saudi Arabians attack us and we invade Iraq. Then instead of saying, "Oops, sorry," and leave government plans to occupy, we stay there until the treasury is flat broke and no more Chinese Communist credit is available.
Of course, it's not crazy if you're in the ruling class and you're making billions off war. Those Americans or world citizens are wealthy enough that no matter what happens here, they can cruise to some other little refuge where war profiteers, and ex-dictators are welcome.
I predict that not just your children will be dying for the almighty war buck, but your grandchildren and their grandchildren will also as this empire gradually turns to dust.
