Wanda L. HowardAKRON – Wanda L. Howard, 82, rural Akron, died at 8:59 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2020, at her residence.
She was born May 31, 1938, in Hazelgreen, Mo., to Orla Ray and Anna Levine James. She was married June 17, 1962, in Crawfordsville, in the Nazarene Church, to Dr. J. Arthur “Jerry” Howard; he survives.
Visitation hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron. The funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3 at the funeral home with Pastor David Eaton and the Rev. Dale Howard officiating. For the health of all in attendance, masks will be required following the state mandate.
Burial will take place following the service in the Athens Mount Hope Cemetery, Athens.
