BOURBON – Walter P. Krontz, 63, Bourbon, passed away of natural causes April 30, 2014, at his residence.
He was born July 17, 1950, to Walter and Pauline Krontz Sr.
He had been a resident of Bourbon since 1998. He had worked at Dexter Axle of Freemont as a welder and he was a graduate of Butler High School.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving his country in the U.S. Army from April 20, 1970, to Nov. 19, 1971.
Surviving are his daughter, Susie (and spouse Andy) Schaetzle, Bourbon; his son, Joseph Krontz, Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon, with Pastor Gary Hinkle officiating. Burial is in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon, with military graveside services by the Bourbon American Legion Post 424.
