Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts invites community members to audition for their 2025 Community Theatre fall production of “Father of the Bride,” running Sept. 26–28.
Open auditions will be Aug. 6-7 at 6 p.m. in the Wagon Wheel Conservatory, 2517 E. Center St., Warsaw, across the parking lot from the main theater. Attendees are asked to choose one night to audition. Callbacks, by invitation only, will be 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 8.
This beloved comedy, featuring a cast of 10 men, six women and an ensemble, tells the story of a father navigating the chaos and comedy of planning his daughter’s wedding.
Wagon Wheel Community Theatre is seeking men, ages 13 and up, and women, ages 18 and up.
No prior acting experience is necessary, and no preparation is required. Those auditioning will read directly from the script. Theatrical resumes are welcome but not required.
Wagon Wheel Community Theatre produces two to three shows each year and features volunteer, amateur performers and crew from the surrounding area. In addition to casting, volunteer opportunities are also available in technical roles such as costumes, lighting, sound, set construction, painting, props and backstage crew.
