Wagon Wheel Theatre, a not-for-profit organization, announced its very first “Wagon Wheel Jr.” musical for 2012. The show title will be chosen after the audition. Rehearsals begin Jan. 21 with performances Feb. 4-5. An open audition will be held at the theater this Saturday at 10 a.m. Any youth, ages 9-18, are welcome to attend the open call. The theater will provide and teach a short song to sing, so nothing needs to be prepared in advance. If chosen, the cost of the program is $25 per child. Scholarship opportunities are available. This production will be the first in a series of new junior shows produced at the Wagon Wheel Theatre, as it aims to enhance the development of youth in the theater arts throughout the Warsaw community. This is your child’s chance to create, build and perform in a theatrical experience while working with a professional production staff. Scott Michaels is the artistic director.
