Six other shows, including three Broadway musicals, will follow at intervals through the season, which closes with Tap Kids April 18. All performances are in the Ford Theater at the Honeywell Center in downtown Wabash.
Wabash Area Community Theater's production of "Anything Goes," one of Cole Porter's many Broadway successes, is the season's second offering. WVMA ticket holders will see the show Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m. The cast, made up of local talent, will be announced in late summer.
"Annie," the hit Broadway show inspired by a classic comic strip, comes to the Ford Theater Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. This production of "Annie," by Network Presentations of New York City, is on national tour.
On Jan. 2 at 6 p.m., the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra welcomes 2010 in Wabash with "An Evening in Vienna," a concert filled with sparkling waltzes and other music associated with New Year's celebrations in the European capital.
"The Drowsy Chaperone," now on a national tour after a successful Broadway run, is the third musical in the WVMA's 2009-10 season. It plays in Wabash Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. The show captured more Tony Awards than any other musical during the 2006 season when it opened in New York City. On Feb. 26 at 7:30 p.m., the theater will welcome a repeat visit from Canadian Brass, a brass quintet with a remarkably varied repertorie and a lengthy list of recordings. The group spends most of its time on tour, and has performed with many of the major symphony orchestras in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
The series closes April 18 at 3 p.m. with Tap Kids, a group of the nation's most talented young tap dancers celebrating American youth culture in a series of musical vignettes telling the story of a group of high school kids preparing for a school dance and graduation.

She has toured in more than 30 states and has been with the group on five international tours.Tickets for the entire series are priced from $75 to $165 for adults, depending upon seat location.
