W. David McConnell of LaPine, Ore., died Feb. 12, 2010, in Green Valley, Ariz., where he and his wife spent the winter months.
He was born in Warsaw to Roger and Bessie Snellenberger McConnell. In May 1954, he married Joy Underwood, who died in 2003. On April 20, 2005, he married Delores Brewing, who survives.
He was a 1948 Warsaw High School graduate and moved to Oregon more than 40 years ago.
Also surviving are a daughter, Sherrie; two sons, Allen and Dale; several grandchildren; and five siblings: Larry (and spouse Cora Ethel) McConnell and Dorcas (and spouse Elzin) Kipker, all of Warsaw; Jim (and spouse Ann) McConnell, Leesburg; Nolen (and spouse Bonnie) McDonnell, Austin, Minn.; and Pat (and spouse John) Stookey, Venice, Fla. He was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Cremation will be followed by burial at a later date in Oregon.
