BOURBON – Vyron W. Cripps, 43, Etna Green, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Oct. 21, 2013, at his residence. He was born Feb. 10, 1970, in Bremen, to Wayne C. Cripps and Joyce Greenlee. On Aug. 19, 1989, in Bourbon, he married Stacy Young, who survives. He was blessed to be raised by his father and Alma Waddle Cripps. He was a lifelong resident of the Bourbon area, and was a graduate of Triton High School Class of 1988. He continued his education at Ivy Tech where he earned a machinist degree. He worked at Newmar Corp., Nappanee, as a service technician. He enjoyed motorcycles, the outdoors and especially his grandchild. He served in the National Guard as a reservist. He was a member of the NRA and past member of the Bourbon Fire Department and Bourbon EMS. Also surviving are three children: Stanley Cripps, Bourbon; Ryley Cripps, Etna Green; and Courtney Cripps, Etna Green, and her fiancé Tyler Palmer; his granddaughter, Kyleigh; his mother, Alma (and Terry) Neidig, Bourbon; mother-in-law, Jackie (and Terry) Treesh, Etna Green; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Judy and Rex Young, Bourbon; his birth mother, Joyce Greenlee, North Carolina; four sisters: Angela Cripps, Waynesville, N.C.; Stacy (and spouse Kevin) Damron, Etna Green; Alana (and spouse Scott) Mappin, Augusta, Ga.; and Jill (and spouse Kevin) Barber, Bourbon. He was proceeded in death by his father on Sept. 3, 2002. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Bourbon Bible Church. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon.
