Vote Polston

I am writing to add my voice to the chorus supporting the candidacy of Randy Polston for the Warsaw School Board.
I have known Randy for more than 30 years, since he was my fifth-grade teacher and coach at Lincoln Elementary. I vividly remember his enthusiasm as a teacher, and his genuine concern for each and every one of the students in our class. He helped to instill a love of learning in me that I carry to this day. Perhaps even more importantly he helped to shape all of his students into compassionate, caring people who recognize the value in others and in themselves.
I am very thankful that my children had the opportunity to have Mr. Polston as their principal at Harrison Elementary. I was struck by how welcoming he was to my family when we began attending Harrison, and I was thrilled to see that he was just as enthusiastic as a principal as he was as a teacher. My family and I witnessed first-hand his dedication to his “Huskies” and to the school. I don’t remember a single event at which he was not present during his tenure. Even though he is no longer principal, he is still a strong supporter of Harrison.
I am confident that Randy will bring this same level of dedication and enthusiasm to the school board, and I am certain that our children could have no better advocate on their behalf.  With his more than 30 years in education, Randy clearly possesses a level of expertise that is well-suited to help craft the direction and development of Warsaw Community Schools. His expertise is tempered with faith and compassion making him an ideal candidate for the school board.
