Editor, Times-Union: If the Democrats get their way, your vote may not matter as much as a dead person’s vote will or that of a non-citizen. Voting multiple times is a Democrat tradition. I guess since Democrats prevented blacks from voting since they were given the right to vote by Republicans over 140 years ago, they’re trying to make up for their criminality by supporting more criminality. Not many would say they hate their children. But when they vote for Democrats, that will take away money they need and support restrictions that will destroy jobs, they vote against the future of their children and America. When Democrats and too many Republicans say the era of Reagin is over, they might be right. It was an era of strength, hope and endless possibilities. The lower taxes and the decreasing budget deficits made it possible for the Republican Congress during the Clinton presidency to balance the budget. The Republican Congress of 2016 is unlike the Republican Congress of 1996. Republicans challenged Clinton while they seem to fear Obama. If the inept former Secretary of State becomes the president in November, all the problems that will happen won’t be blamed on just her. The voters also will be partly to blame. I don’t want lower expectations. I want to have the potential to be much better than I am today. But if you vote against America you could destroy my future and that of millions, many unborn. Do you like the way things are and the real possibility that things will get worst? Vote for Hillary or Bernie. I want America to be the best it can be and the citizens to fulfill their potential. But if Democrats and many Republicans have their way, this will be impossible. The brighter future presidential candidates’ promise for America will be as fictional as a genie despite the desire the candidates have to fulfill wishes. Democrats and weak Republicans will make sure America’s greatness is in the past and unobtainable in the future as long as voters vote that way. Only God will bring world peace. But will this nation survive long enough to benefit from it? The way we vote may determine if future Americans will enjoy living in America or curse us for destroying the nation. Rick Badman Warsaw
