As I tried to determine which of the men running for county commissioner I should support, I looked for several things: maturity, conservative/liberal philosophy, integrity of character, experience.
After examining the two men I discovered that one candidate is a middle-aged man who lives with his mother and pays no property tax. He has an impressive number of campaign signs all over Warsaw for which he received outside monetary assistance. He has a rather impressive arrest record including having had his driver's license suspended followed by being arrested for driving while suspended.
The second man is a mature business owner in our city who pays property taxes on businesses and his home. He is a godly man who lives by a conservative philosophy and who has been a successful county commissioner who has followed his conservative and Christian values as he served in office. He has far fewer signs than candidate No. 1 but he paid for them out of his own pocket.
The choice was easy. I intend to support Bob Conley whom the "second man" above describes.
