The Warsaw Community High School volleybal team will host a Dig Pink match at the Tiger Den on Oct. 4. The Dig Pink match raises awareness of the importance of early detection in the fight against breast cancer and also raises funds to support the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund. The Warsaw Lady Tigers will be face Northern Lakes Conference foe Concord on Dig Pink night. The Lady Tigers are in the midst of a very successful season with a key NLC win over Elkhart Memorial, a victory over highly ranked Mishawaka Marian, and placing first at the Tiger Spiker Invitational. The junior varsity match will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the varsity starting approximately 6:30 p.m. Fans, players, coaches and anyone else attending are encouraged to wear pink as a reminder of those who have battled or are battling breast cancer. Fans will have the opportunity to participate in a 50/50 raffle and a prize raffle as well as purchase fabulous baked goods prepared by our volleyball families. Last year was a very successful event and the Lady Tigers hope to raise even more money for the Kosciusko Cancer Care Fund this year.
