MILFORD — Vivian A. Mueller, 89, Arlington Heights, Ill., fell asleep in Jesus on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at The Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights.
She was born Dec. 28, 1928, in Ironton, Mo., to John and Bessie Arehart Naef. She married Raymond Mueller on Aug. 14, 1954, in St. Louis, Mo.
Vivian was an active, lifelong member of the Lutheran Church, and participated in ladies’ groups, Bible studies and many service groups. She treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren.
Vivian will be missed by two daughters, Mary Mueller, Arlington Heights, and Rebekah (Alan) Miller, Glidden, Iowa; one son, David (Miranda) Mueller, Goodland; four grandchildren: Matthew (Sara) Mueller, Kenneth Mueller, Elizabeth (Hayden) Robison and Allison Miller; and one great-grandchild, Aaron Mueller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; a young son, Mark Mueller; a grandson, Levi Mueller; two brothers; and two sisters.
Friends and family will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Jan. 15, at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Milford.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Shepherd by the Lakes Lutheran Church, 7449 E. 1000N, Syracuse. Burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery.
