Viva J. Wolfe, 76, Warsaw, passed away at 1:14 a.m. Oct. 3, 2013, in Grace Village Healthcare Center, Winona Lake. She was born Dec. 15, 1936, in Warsaw, to Howard and Edith Foltz LaFollette. She was a lifelong resident of Warsaw. She worked for GTI and then Flint Ink, Warsaw, from which she retired. She was a member of Warsaw Community Church, where she was active in volunteer activities including working with the poor in Guatemala. She is survived by four children: Michael Douglas LaFollete, Granger; Jody Lyn Brown Castillo, Lexington, Va.; Terri Kay Brown Mitchell, Warsaw; and Mark Allen Wolfe, Warsaw; two sisters, Annette Stump, Pierceton, and Rose Powers, Arizona; her brother, Robert LaFollette, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren and a brother. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Warsaw Community Church with Pastor Denny Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
