Virginia Sue Anderson, 65, of 5154 Hamlin Court, South Bend, died at 2:45 a.m. Jan. 7, 2012, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
She was born Jan. 26, 1946, in Muncie, to Elmer and Irene Davis Morris. On Sept. 17, 1965, she married John Ong, who died Dec. 10, 1991.
A resident of Kosciusko County for 45 years, she moved to South Bend in 2011. She graduated in 1963 from Muncie High School.
Surviving are two sons, John (and spouse Ashley) Ong, Kendallville, and James Ong, Goshen; two daughters, Lori Kinch, Syracuse, and Kim (and spouse Jim) Wolf, South Bend; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers: Denny (and spouse Nola) Morris, Chapman Lake; Larry (and spouse Marlene) Morris, Muncie; and Tom Morris, Muncie; and two sisters, Phyllis Morris, Muncie, and Shirley Morris, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Roland Kramer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
