GOSHEN - Virginia Sorto, 71, of 304 S. Main St., Bourbon, died at 8:20 p.m. Feb. 11, 2008, in her residence.
She was born May 21, 1936, in Honduras, Central America, to Enefecio Cruz and Joefa Sorto.
She was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel Christian Church, Chicago, Ill., where she resided for 23 years.
Surviving are four sons: Rigoberto and Gorge Alberto Sorto, both of Honduras; Leopoldo Sorto, Miami, Fla.; and Dogoberto Sorto, Warsaw; two daughters, Dora Luz Sorto, Bourbon, and Blanca Garcia Sorto, Milford; 21 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five sisters: Malgarita, Teresa and Alejandrina Sorto, all of Honduras; Venturas Sorto, Miami; and Santos Sorto, Chicago; and two brothers, Jose Maria and Pablo Sorto, both of Honduras. She was preceded in death by a daughter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Emmanuel Christian Church, Chicago. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Chicago.
Calling is from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, is in charge of arrangements.
